In line with its commitment to social responsibility, the Lusiaves Group has gone into partnership with several entities to organize a series of conferences designed to reflect on some extremely important and topical issues.

In the second session of the cycle “Conferences of the West”, in partnership with NERLEI – Leiria Region Business Association and Caixa Geral de Depósitos, the debate focused on “Domestic production, success stories and businesses with a future”. 

The conference was opened by the State Secretary for the Economy and Regional Development, António Almeida Henriques, with contributions from Nuno Fernandes Thomaz, director of CGD, Amândio Santos, Chairman of Portugal Foods and director of Derovo, Henrique Neto, entrepreneur, and Nélson Souza, Deputy Chairman of AIP. 

In this second session, just under two hundred participants filled the conference room to capacity.  The Conferences of the West cycle has permanent partners in the Lusiaves Group, the Jornal de Negócios, Invest Magazine and Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
