Campoaves
Campoaves was founded in 1994, and is a pioneer and leader in the production of free-range chicken in Portugal, a position it has occupied in the industry for 18 years. Its activities involve the integrated production, slaughter, processing and marketing of poultry reared under an extensive system, which is genetically selected for slow growth and free-range production.
Investing heavily in quality and the control thereof, Campoaves breeds chickens using traditional methods, in the field and in freedom.
One of the factors explaining the success of Campoaves, perhaps the most significant, is its belief and investment in a different product around 18 years ago, when it invested in introducing free-range chicken to Portugal and other products with the same philosophy of production, such as: the guineafowl, the poulard, the poussin and the capon, occupying a market niche that was emerging in our country due to the existence of consumers with high purchasing power and greater demands in terms of seeking alternative, quality products produced naturally, more safely and healthily, which were richer sensorily, bred using traditional methods of inspiration and which respected the environment and animal welfare.
Today continuing this art of breeding chicken, the company’s investment has been rewarded by savvy consumers, who prefer to buy Campoaves brand chicken due to its incomparable quality and safety.
