Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Social Responsibility
The Lusiaves Group, as part of the national business landscape, operates in the production of compound animal feed, the production of hatching eggs, poultry farming and slaughtering, the processing, storage, and marketing of food products, the processing of category 3 poultry by-products, and the marketing of raw materials for animal feed.
We are committed to improving our management systems and processes:
- Focusing on a customer-centric strategy that meets their desires and needs, anticipates trends, and uses innovation and product and process development to provide high-quality, food-safe products and services;
- Ensuring the effectiveness of our Integrated Management System across all areas of activity and processes;
- Monitoring our processes and products regarding the environment, occupational health and safety, and food safety, while complying with regulatory obligations and customer requirements;
- Producing at a controlled cost by optimizing processes and increasing efficiency;
- Establishing and strengthening relationships of partnership, trust, and communication with stakeholders and interested parties, based on transparency and ethical principles and values;
- Motivating and encouraging employees, rewarding top performers to stimulate innovation and strengthen professional bonds;
- Pursuing sustainable and socially responsible development by optimizing and preserving natural resources and integrating economic, social, and environmental impacts into our activities, strategies, and behaviors;

- Eliminating hazards and reducing occupational health and safety risks, preventing accidents, injuries, and health issues, while enhancing their control and hierarchical mitigation;
- Training, raising awareness, consulting, and involving employees, ensuring they remain not only professionally prepared but also engaged and aware of their roles and responsibilities across all areas of their work;
- Preventing and minimizing food safety risks associated with our operations, ensuring rigor with our customers and consumers by providing safe, authentic, high-quality products that meet all defined requirements (legal, process, and specifications).
- Providing appropriate Occupational Health and Safety conditions through a safe and healthy work environment, with the aim of preventing incidents and potential harm to employees;
- Fostering employment and creating wealth for the country;
- Monitoring food safety culture to ensure it remains appropriate, meets required standards, and drives continuous improvement.
