Mariana Gaspar, Francisco Gaspar, and Carlos Cabral were inducted into the Confraria Gastronómica do Frango do Campo during the brotherhood's 12th Chapter, held on 19 September in Oliveira de Frades.

The ceremony brought together members and guests to celebrate the gastronomy, traditions, and products that define the identity of the Lafões region, with the Frango do Campo (free-range chicken) taking centre stage.

This occasion holds special significance for the Lusiaves Group due to its strong ties to Oliveira de Frades through Campoaves. It is at this facility that the Frango do Campo is produced—a benchmark product that combines the tradition and quality of poultry farming with its local roots.

With this induction, Mariana Gaspar, Francisco Gaspar, and Carlos Cabral join other members of the Gaspar family and Lusiaves Group executives who were already part of the Confraria, further strengthening a connection built over time.

Membership in the Confraria also represents a commitment to valuing and preserving the gastronomic and cultural traditions of the region, where the Frango do Campo plays a prominent role and maintains a close link to the Lafões territory.
