Grupo Lusiaves becomes an EPIS associate for inclusive education
We are proud to announce that Grupo Lusiaves has joined EPIS - Entrepreneurs for Social Inclusion as an associate member. This partnership marks a new stage in our Corporate Social Responsibility plan, reinforcing our commitment to promoting social equity through education, a pillar that is essential to both the EPIS mission and the values that guide Grupo Lusiaves.
Created in 2006 by over a hundred Portuguese entrepreneurs and managers, EPIS was born from an appeal by the then President of the Republic, Professor Aníbal Cavaco Silva, to mobilize civil society around social inclusion. Since then, and currently chaired by Leonor Beleza, the association has led transformative programs in promoting academic success and professional integration for young people in vulnerable contexts.

Under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, and in coordination with the Ministry of Education, local authorities, and various public and private entities, EPIS has already supported around 30,000 students across the country, with a real and proven impact on the communities involved.
Under the motto "Quality and equitable education for all," the EPIS action plan for the 2025-2027 triennium was recently approved, presented during the association's General Assembly on May 21st at the Citadel Palace in Cascais. The event was attended by the President of the Republic and various figures from civil society and the business world. The new plan reinforces the need to ensure equitable access to education, with special attention to younger children and support for disadvantaged students, such as immigrants or those with special needs.
We believe this is the right path to building a fairer and more prosperous society. By partnering with EPIS, Grupo Lusiaves takes another firm step in its social responsibility, joining a network of companies and institutions that believe education transforms lives.
