The Lusiaves Group is developing the LusIA+ project, a training program dedicated to upskilling employees in Artificial Intelligence, with the goal of promoting the adoption and practical application of the technology across the Group's various functional areas.

Based on an assessment of the organization's maturity for implementing AI tools, LusIA+ was custom-designed for the Lusiaves Group with the support of external partners. The program aims to equip teams with the knowledge and skills to streamline tasks, increase service efficiency, and create new opportunities for innovation to generate value.

The pilot phase of the project took place in 2025, consisting of awareness sessions on the existence and potential of generative AI. In this first stage, 121 employees were trained, including a specific group for the Board of Directors. Departments such as Human Resources, Accounting, and Procurement were also involved in sessions that combined theory with practical exercises based on real-world use cases.

The second phase of LusIA+ aims to reinforce the skills already acquired and expand training to the majority of the Group's companies and industries, with plans to involve approximately 700 employees by the end of 2026.

The training sessions combine a theoretical component with practical exercises based on real-world use cases. For Sérgio Gonçalves, a trainer at Code for All, one of the main goals of this initiative is to "spark the curiosity to experiment, test, and use these tools in day-to-day work," demonstrating the potential of Artificial Intelligence to support daily tasks.

According to João Malho, Training Coordinator at the Lusiaves Group, the initiative is built on two fundamental pillars: the conscious adoption of the Group's Artificial Intelligence policies, ensuring data security, and increasing productivity by reducing administrative burdens and routine tasks.
